LSJCC tennis academy programs help children and adults
of all ages and abilities learn and develop tennis skills that will
last a lifetime. Whether you are an accomplished player looking to go
to the next level or a beginner who wants to learn the basics, we have
the instructional program and staff to meet your needs.
Tennis development is the most successful with a combined program of
individual and group lessons. Students often gain more from group
instruction after having received private or semi-private instruction.
Tennis pro Rolf Bonnell will lead the Leventhal-Sidman JCC’s tennis program in 2010. He will run the JCC’s tennis classes and tennis camps while providing private tennis lessons for adults and children.
A Brookline resident, Rolf comes to the JCC from Brae Burn Country Club in Newton where he served as head tennis pro for the past year. Previously, Rolf was director of the International Tennis Academy in Tokyo for two years. After earning All-American status at Rollins College in Florida, Rolf climbed to a top-ten ranking in U.S. men’s open doubles in 2001. He has coached top-100 ranked WTA players and has worked extensively with junior players of all ages and skill levels. Rolf will work with a team of tennis assistants at the JCC this summer to provide a high level of coaching and teaching expertise.
