Membership year and payment Center memberships are annual and applications are accepted on a rolling basis. The Center offers Visa, MasterCard and other payment options; some additional fees may apply. Guest passes Guest passes are available at the Member Relations Center in the front lobby. The cost for accompanied guests is $7.00 for guests under age 13 and $12.00 for guests 13 and older. Unaccompanied guests may use the facility for $25. Maximum three guest visits per year. ID required. Limit one guest (or one family) per member per day. Guest fees are nonrefundable. Class Fees and Refunds Payment by check or credit card must accompany all registrations. Class fees will not be pro-rated. Full refund for classes cancelled for low enrollment. Allow 4 weeks for a refund check. Refund minus $15 processing fee for withdrawal request within 5 business days before class starting date. Class credit issued for withdrawal requests between first and second classes. After 2nd class, no refund or class credit. Processing fee of $15 to transfer from one class to another after September 8. Please note fees have been adjusted to accommodate the number of classes in the semester. Classes that are cancelled due to weather will be rescheduled or class credit will be issued. Class credit will be issued for swimming classes that are cancelled due to biological contamination of the pool. These policies apply to classes at the LSJCC (Newton). For other locations, different policies may apply. Kashruth The Leventhal-Sidman café and vending machines offer kosher meals and snacks. All food served at or brought into the JCC must be strictly kosher. Shabbat and Jewish holidays Business transactions, including the exchange of money and clerical functions, are not permitted in the JCC building from sunset on Friday through sundown on Saturday, or on Jewish holidays.
